High Court Judge Girish Kulkarni Says Facility Will Reflect Justice, Equality and Democratic Values

Thane, Aug 9: The newly inaugurated Civil Judge (Junior Division) and Judicial Magistrate First Class court building at Chikhloli–Ambernath will stand as a symbol of justice, equality, and democratic values, said Justice Girish Kulkarni of the Bombay High Court.

The modern facility was inaugurated by Justice Kulkarni in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who is also the Guardian Minister of Thane district.

Boost for Speedy Justice

Justice Kulkarni noted that Ambernath’s growing population required local judicial infrastructure to ensure faster justice delivery. The building is equipped with modern amenities, helping realise the vision of “Justice at Your Doorstep.” He stressed that citizens come to court with high expectations and that cases must be resolved swiftly to uphold public trust in the judicial system.

‘Nyayamandir’ as a New Landmark

Deputy CM Shinde compared the court to Ambernath’s famous ancient Shiva temple, calling it a new landmark for truth and justice. He reaffirmed the state’s commitment to strengthening judicial infrastructure, noting that 32 new courts have been established in the last two and a half years. “A fair justice system is the pride of our state, and we will ensure all needs of the judiciary are met,” he said.
