Annasaheb Patil Corporation Joins Hands With CSC To Offer Affordable Services To Beneficiaries
Over 72,000 CSC Centres Across Maharashtra To Provide Easy Access To Schemes
Beneficiaries of the Annasaheb Patil Economically Backward Development Corporation will now be able to avail services of the corporation’s schemes at affordable rates through Common Service Centres (CSC) across Maharashtra.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the corporation’s head office between Managing Director Vijay Singh Deshmukh and CSC Head Vaibhav Deshpande on 15 September 2025.
What The MoU Provides
Under this agreement, beneficiaries can approach their nearest CSC centre to:
- Fill and submit online applications for schemes
- Upload required documents
- Check the current status of applications
- Receive guidance and assistance on schemes
This eliminates the need for beneficiaries to travel to district headquarters, saving both time and money.
Leaders’ Statements
Corporation Chairman Narendra Annasaheb Patil said the partnership would help the corporation reach eligible youth across rural Maharashtra. “With affordable services available closer to home, youth will be encouraged towards self-employment and entrepreneurship, particularly from the Maratha community,” he added.
Managing Director Vijay Singh Deshmukh informed that beneficiaries will be charged a nominal ₹70 per service for uploading eligibility certificates, bank sanction letters, and repayment schedules. He also highlighted that this system would curb the activities of unauthorised agents who exploit beneficiaries in the name of the corporation.
Wider Impact
With more than 72,000 CSC centres active across the state, this initiative ensures that services become simpler, transparent and cost-effective. The corporation is also planning to roll out a mobile app and chatbot to further assist beneficiaries in the future.
“By making the process more transparent, affordable, and accessible, the corporation will achieve its goal of encouraging rural entrepreneurship and preventing misuse by middlemen,” Deshmukh emphasized.
