Workshop Organized on the topic of ” Health, Spirituality and Diet “

Two-day workshop successfully concluded

Thane, 28th :-  On the initiative of District Collector Ashok Shingare and in collaboration with Panchavati Farms, Shegaon,  a two-day workshop on the topic of ” Health, Spirituality and Diet ”  was successfully organized at Town Hall, Thane on 24th and 25th May 2025. Thane District Collector’s Office and District Planning Officer Vaibhav Kulkarni provided valuable support in organizing this initiative.

The workshop was inaugurated in the presence of Additional District Collector Harishchandra Patil, Resident Deputy Collector Dr. Sandeep Mane and P. Deputy Collector (General Administration) Sachin Chaudhar. 

A total of 51 participants attended the workshop. In which Zilla Parishad officials as well as medical officers from the health department actively participated. All the sessions in the workshop received a very enthusiastic response.

Jaya Kale provided insightful and thought-provoking guidance on the topics of man-made and natural science, possible causes of diseases, service and reconciliation. Yoga expert Snehal Kale provided in-depth information on yoga practice, ideal diet, misconceptions about protein, hormonal health and vitality, and demonstrated pranayama and asanas.

During the workshop, participants were provided with healthy, delicious, and innovative meals prepared from raw vegetables and fruits.

According to all the participants, this workshop created awareness about health and clarified the relationship between diet and health. This workshop was inspiring to move towards health with a more conscious and holistic approach. The workshop received a positive and hopeful response from the participants, saying that this workshop gave a deeper understanding of the interrelationship between diet and disease.
