Mira-Bhayander: In a bid to enhance transparency, convenience, and efficiency in governance, the Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has launched a new digital initiative — a WhatsApp chatbot service aimed at delivering key civic services directly to citizens’ fingertips.

The cutting-edge chatbot system enables residents to access a variety of municipal services from the comfort of their homes, using just a single click. Citizens simply need to send a message saying “Hi” to the number 99676 11234 on WhatsApp to initiate the service. Once connected, the chatbot provides a menu of options tailored to the user’s needs.

This initiative is designed to eliminate the need for citizens to physically visit municipal offices, offering immediate and accurate access to a range of services.

The chatbot currently facilitates the following services:

  • Property tax payment link
  • Duplicate copy of property tax bill and receipt
  • Water tax payment link
  • Duplicate water bill and receipt
  • Access to RTS (Right to Services) facilities
  • Complaint registration
  • Disaster management information
  • Water tanker booking
  • List of government hospitals
  • Information about public gardens
  • Smart city (MBMC City) related services

Launched under the leadership of Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Shri Radhabinod Sharma (IAS), the initiative underscores the MBMC’s commitment to embracing modern technology for public welfare. Commissioner Sharma has directed relevant departments to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of services via this platform.

The MBMC has also appealed to all citizens to take full advantage of this digital facility to streamline their interactions with the municipal administration.
