
New Civil And Criminal Court Inauguration In Chikhloi-Ambernath On August 9
Deputy CM Eknath Shinde To Attend Ceremony Alongside High Court Judges
The judicial infrastructure of Chikhloi-Ambernath is set for a major boost as a brand-new Civil Judge (Junior Division) and Judicial Magistrate First Class Court building will be inaugurated on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 10:30 AM. The ceremony will be led by Justice Girish Kulkarni of the Bombay High Court.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Thane District Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde will attend as the chief guest. The event will be presided over by Principal District and Sessions Judge Srinivas Agrawal, with High Court Judges Shri Ram Modak, Manjusha Deshpande, and Advait Sethna as distinguished guests.
Local residents see this as a significant step toward faster justice delivery in Chikhloi and surrounding areas. Lawyers, law students, media representatives, and citizens have been invited by Adv. Sanjay Sonawane, President of the Chikhloi-Ambernath and Ulhasnagar Taluka Bar Advocates Foundation.
