Patriotic Bike Rally Held Under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign In Mira-Bhayandar
Citizens Brave Rain To Celebrate National Unity With Enthusiastic Participation
As part of the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, launched in 2022 under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative, the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) organized a spirited bike rally to strengthen citizens’ emotional connect with the Indian National Flag and ignite patriotic fervor.
Guided by Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Radhabinod A. Sharma (IAS), the rally was held in Ward Committee 05, starting from Mira Road Station and proceeding via Rasaz Road to the Ward Office. Despite heavy rains, around 200 citizens participated enthusiastically, waving the tricolour and chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram”, creating an atmosphere charged with nationalism.
The rally saw disciplined motorbike processions, residents waving flags, and a sense of unity spreading across the city. Municipal officials, staff, and citizens from diverse walks of life joined hands in a demonstration of national integration.
Beyond patriotism, the event also carried messages of a clean and green Mira-Bhayandar, promotion of an eco-friendly Ganesh festival, and strengthening civic pride.
Prominent attendees included Assistant Commissioner Jitendra Kamble, Sanitation Inspector Anil Rathod, Kantilal Bangar, Shyam Chougule, Vinod Jaymade, along with other municipal officers, employees, and local residents.
