Madanpura, Sept 1 – To commemorate Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, the Anjuman Khairul Islam Girls High School, Madanpura organised a special Seerat-un-Nabi program on Monday, September 1, 2025, in the school hall. The event featured student speeches on the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and a naat recitation competition, where top performers were awarded first, second and third prizes.

Renowned naat reciter and Islamic scholar Syed Atiya served as the chief judge of the competition. Opening the program, Religious Studies teacher and convener Ms. Yasmeen Zahid Ansari said the aim was to instill a deeper interest among students in the life and teachings of the Prophet ﷺ. She emphasized that in today’s turbulent times, where young minds are distracted by an excess of social media and entertainment programs, there is a pressing need to provide constructive and moral alternatives.

Ansari noted, “Studying the Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ is in itself an act of worship. It offers us insights into his sayings, actions and moral character. From childhood to youth, the Prophet was the living example of truth, justice, compassion and mercy. His life teaches us lessons that pave the way to a successful life.”

Principal Momin Qaiser Jahan also addressed the gathering, congratulating the students who participated. She underlined that the Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ is a timeless guide for all generations, especially relevant in the current climate of social and moral challenges. She urged students to regularly read books on Seerat-un-Nabi and apply those lessons in their lives.

The event concluded with the principal congratulating Ms. Yasmeen for successfully organizing the program and reaffirming that the life of the Prophet ﷺ remains the best model for humanity.
